Hot weather often causes a rash on the skin marked with itching, burning and redness. This phenomenon is also often called prickly heat, and can happen to anyone not just kids who have sensitive skin. The rash usually appears when you are very sweaty and hot or very humid weather. Usually a small lump will appear in red, especially at the surface of the skin rubbing against skin or clothing. To overcome this, there are four ways you can do.
- Cool the skin
Take a few ice cubes. Stick it on the skin that feels sore and itchy for about 5 to 10 minutes, then drain.
- Sunscreen
Some form of lotion moisturizers can also help overcome a rash due to hot weather. Special baby care products for your skin can also be used to eliminate the rash. Use the lotion two to three times a day. But remember before applying skin lotion used to clean with soap and water.
- Powders Wheat
You can also use wheat powder or baking powder to drive the itch. Just add one tablespoon of powder into warm water, stirring until dissolved and then rinse the affected skin rash.
- Powder
Bath immediately if you have a rash. After that, use the powder on the affected skin rash. Powder will help absorb excess moisture that causes a rash.
